I normally run to someone in my support system when chaos floods my brain and i cannot bear it anymore and need comfort. I'm gonna try this "Self Soothe" thing. Right now i'm trying some music. ![]() the reason i'm in need of strong soothing... I found this amazing therapist that i really really connected to (she's the first one who ever mentioned BPD to me) but we had a really really intense, highly emotional, out of control session a few months in, so we backed off for a while) i've needed to get back with her therapy but kept putting it off. Hope the music helped. Personally I listen to Glee soundtracks so no judgement from me. Right now I have found music to be the most calming but I have tried bubble baths and watching a candle as well.
