So I had a kidney infection that came roaring back and spent 4 hours in the ER hooked up to an IV and sick and in tremendous pain. I felt good when I left (morphine rocks), but woke up again with chills. My son hopped into bed with me, and I awoke to him trying to scootch closer and closer to me as my teeth were chattering in my sleep. I'm so tremendously sick and exhausted and am praying that I'll feel better.

Wow. How odd I am going through the exact same thing. Spent about 4 hours on i.v. morphine and getting a CT, diagnosed with a severe kidney infection! How very strange. I feel for you, literally. I go from terrible pain to almost throwing up. Yucky!

He's a wonderful boy. He didn't warm by body, but did my heart.

I know! I can barely eat, can barely sleep, and am generally miserable. Praying my meds kick in soon. I pray yours do too.
