Hello all!
I was officially diagnosed with BPD last year but according to the criteria I've had it since I was a young child. I was diagnosed last year after a very near successful suicide attempt. I'm doing much better but I still do self harm. I'm hoping to connect with others who might understand me. |

Hello and welcome to Psych central and the BPD forum!
I was diagnosed with BPD early this year. I am still coming to terms with it but have found it has helped so much to talk with others in the forum and read what others are going through. I developed BPD during my teenage years, I can look back now and see how it formed with the interactions with my mother who was emotionally abusive.

I'm glad you are here. I'm new to the forum too. I find alot of support here and I hope you feel that way too. You are not alone. I was diagnosed bpd in 2008 and now that I know about it I know it started in my teen age years. There is hope.
