Why are some people with BPD so hated?
Why are some who should know better so lacking in compassion, so cruel and hateful towards those whose deep hurts at times express in "borderline" behaviour? Why do some who should know better love labels, love pointing the finger, so lacking in insight into themselves and their anger and hate. Why? (not about anybody here)

It's the stigma, people don't understand. BPD patients get labelled as manipulative when really they are just trying to cope with the swirling emotions without having been taught effective skills.
