Just wanted me introduce myself.
Well I'm starting to look at dbt skills again. I'm bipolar with ptsd but have borderline traits. I'm having a hard time sleeping again and I'm on meds. Is there a thread on dbt skills? Hope everyone is doing ok. ![]() |

There isn't a specific thread on dbt but you can start one. I'm like you and suffer from bp, ptsd and bpd too. You are not alone. Sleeping is a hard one for me too. Too much or too little. I hope one day that everyone understands that mental illness is nothing to be afraid of. We are just like anyone else except our brains are sick. It doesn't make us weird or anything.

Threads on DBT skills come and go. If you look at the groups, however, there is a group on DBT as well as mindfulness meditation...and the two pretty much go hand in hand.

Man o man. I had a really tough day yesterday. I got some sleep and feel a little better. There is a program where I'm at that does dbt. The problem is they only do one dbt group every three months. You have to take a minimum of 5 classes a week and the other classes are lame imo. Like basic skill stuff that I already know.
But I just finished doing some really intense therapy on my traumas but like once a week I start going into a really bad place. Idk what to do. Hope everyone is doing ok. |
