Back to feeling my good 'ol self-hate, shame, and strong self-harm temptations. Yaaay!
 Thanks a lot to my "wise" ex-hub and my realization that he's freaking right. AGAIN.  At least I had a wonderful day yesterday. He can't take that away from me.

Shez, please don't feel ashamed about these things. We all can have setbacks, especially when we are dealing with stressful people and circumstances involving them.

It's terrible when the "ex" turns out to be right. I hate that.
But you are right he can't take away your good day. Just remember he doesn't define who you are. Take care and forgive yourself. We all make mistakes.

Thank you everyone.
 I am unsure if my ex-hub is right after all. Who is he to tell me to chill out on a romance?? It's none of his beeswax, right? I feel a comfort and keen understanding with my new bf. He is a terrific guy! And, while my ex may think that I'm moving quickly in this relationship, we haven't shown any romantic affection to one another in front of my daughters. They've only met him once ~ and they think that he's great too.  I guess that the complication involves that Nick had a huge bouquet of beautiful flowers delivered to me on Thursday, the same day that my girls came over. They were amazed (and hadn't even met Nick yet)! That evening, my girls made some special artwork for Nick, wishing he & I "a great life...happily ever after". Very sweet of them. They're young, and that's my ex's concern.

It's so great that you have found someone new! How long have you been together? It's always a good idea to wait a bit before introducing him regularly into yr life with yr kids. Depending on how long you've been dating? Why is yr ex so concerned? Does he think yr moving to fast? What biz is it his anyways? We're here to listen! :-)
