I feel quite buzzy and twitchy. Odd. I think my mood may be on the way up. Like, up up. I hope so but I'm sure I shouldn't.
I SHOULD relax and meditate and be sensible and maybe do do something so I can't access money etc. But I WANT caffeine and staying up late and walking late at night and all sorts of... pleasurable... activities. On the other hand, it's unusual for me to notice this at an early stage and I know I should choose to do what I can to be sensible and stay balanced. But that is not what I want. I have been low for so long and I WANT a 'high'. Someone talk some sense into me?

Stay away from the caffeine. It can lead to mania. Try to breath and be aware of the breath. Counting the breaths can be relaxing. You can meditate laying down. If you fall asleep, sleep is very healing.
Seeking a high can lead to a deeper low. Find stable ground. Try some yoga. PM me if you care to talk further.

My BP partner consumes a good amount of caffeine. Is this something that I should be concerned about? Not that I want to tell him what to do, but if caffeine could alter your mood adversely, I would rather not enable it

Hello Starling,
I am sorry to hear that you are going through some struggles. Yeah I think the coffee will definitely keep you awake (as you are aware) and the disruption to your sleep will most definitely contribute towards your overall mood. I guess for me when I'm like this; I prefer a sense of some "stability" if you know what I mean; mood wise this is; so sometimes I have to have a bit of a think about what sort of things I might be able to incorporate into my everyday life that may help me achieve a sense of stability and make the necessary changes in order to achieve this balance. Hope this all works out for you. |
