I've understood that this is a very common combination... and I have both of them myself. Anyone wanna share their experiences? And how do I get out of my PTSD when my BPD is making it impossible to handle my past traumas?
Also, I'd like to add that I have ADD AND manic traits too which makes no sence to me... apart from my emotional outbursts I'm described as a calm and laid back person untill I get manic and compulsive, or anxious/angry etc of course (this rarely lasts for more than an hour or so)... all these combinations are just weird as they're so different.

I do have PTSD as well as BPD (and a couple others).

For me, my PTSD comes out in the night, with horrifying nightmares (so I take a medication to help me sleep) and sometimes I get triggered into an intense emotional reaction. From there, I kind of "freeze" and cannot function. Weird ~ and very difficult to get past. I don't like those times at all!

I'm a bit distracted right now, so I'm having a tough time thinking straight. Sorry, that's all I can contribute...
