Just found out I have had diagnosis of BPD for about seven years. Head spinning, and down for the count!

No worries. You CAN get better.

In my youth I was diagnosed as BPD, but current T says I no longer fit the criteria.

Just be honest with your T and do the work even if it seems pointless.
Thanks for this!

The diagnosis isn't a real happy point for any of us, really. But, it does help answer Q's like, "WHY???" The answer: because we are lost and feel as though no one else can understand or relate to our difficult emotions. We are wrong, of course. But, it takes time to convince ourselves that we aren't alone. Other people can relate to us. There is an end to our misery. It takes some time and work to get there, but, it can be done!

I am stuck in the last phase myself, forgiveness. Necessary to move myself forward ~ and I'm stuck in hell right now ~ but I can see that others have surpassed this horrible phase, I've met some. So, It CAN be done. I just have to keep pushing myself to get there already!

Welcome to the group. You aren't alone. We are all in different phases, which can be very helpful. Just reach out when you need a hand. Others here are very willing to help.... Take care!

Heya, welcome. I am new too So far it has kept my interest there are some interesting posts and engaged members here. It is good for perspective for sure. I have taken comfort and already had many smiles from joining.

BPD diagnosis for me was actually like AHA! I was glad and relieved to have an answer after so long wondering why.

For like a day anyway loool.

I feel like someone (God?) takes my life into their arms everyday like a carefully folded load of laundry just cleaned and throws it all straight up into the air while giggling madly as it lands all around me mixing in with the dirty clothes pile(s).

I'm not a particularly organized religion kinda gal, but I am spiritual...so for me, God isn't the one flinging...He's the one on his hands and knees, while I cry, helping me separate it all back out again.

Awww... I am actually quite spiritual too, but my beliefs, well, as BPD I couldn't honestly say what I believe in. My version of God changes all of the time.

Lord Chance, then Or maybe Jinx....sounds like they would be fun to draw/paint.
