hi fellow borderlines was hoping that some of you maybe have a partner or have had a partner with ocd ? does this ever work ? really could do with some advice convinced that mine has undiagnosed ocd and possibly something else , sometimes its so dam hard to know if i am being unreasonable (bpd) he definately aggrevates my symptoms but tries hard to be supportive. he wont admit he needs help , dont know what to do ,how to make things betterplease advise if can thanks

I once dated a guy who had OCD, reallly bad case of it. I couldn't stand it, so that was the end of us.

I also have OCD tendencies myself, so maybe that's why I've only recognized this guy as being obsessive? Like we had different obsessions? Back then, I hadn't recognized my tendencies either.

I guess that I haven't helped you...sorry. Just wanted to be sure that you got some sort of response. I hope that you find the right way for you and your partner to make it work.

My best friend has severe ocd. It annoys me because our 'obsessions,' are sort of opposite and was difficult when we lived together. But it didn't really effect my BPD symptoms or our relationship at all... We lived together for 3 Years and still laugh about it now.

He would compromise cleanliness in favour of tidiness and I would compromise tidiness in favour of cleanliness. I suppose we compromised together and managed to work out a way forward to suit us both?

Anything specific you want advice on?
