I've been there, many a times. Don't beat yourself up. It's normal to be nervous and it's normal to see your flaws a thousand times bigger than they do. It may take a bunch of overviews to get the willies out, unfortunately. But like anything else, practice makes perfect.

Also, some places are just sickos and play weird mind games when interviewing.
Thanks for this!

I have done this. It is awful... it was years ago for me but every time I think about it my cheeks get hot and I sit there just spacing wondering how I could have done that.

I know it is after the fact, but look up interview questions online and write out answers to them, and then act them out while reading. This will help them stick in your memory.

Sometimes it is really hard for people with few social skills to gauge what kind of answers the interviewer is looking for, so being prepared is so important. I admit I should practice more, myself.

Darling, one door closes so another can open. I know how ridiculous this must sound to you right now, but I've found it helpful personally. Maybe this event will lead to you finding something even better or doing something better in your life, that you may not have thought of, yet.

You will have your day.

Sometimes the interviewer comes off as such a jerk that it can make anyone nervous.
I've learned to walk away from job "opportunities" that gave me a bad vibe as early as the interview process.
