I have read about borderline personality for a long time.. and i was always scared to go into detail with a psychiatrist about it.... but i might on friday.. any suggestions on if i should or not?

hi kittenlover, it might help you to talk about it with a psychiatrist ... to see if you can either rule it out or have it confirmed; is this psychiatrist one you know already or will this be your first visit?

I certainly think that it's fair for you to discuss your feelings about DBT with your psychiatrist. They can't help us if we don't give them all the information. Hope your session goes well.
