Positive.

For BPD.

I've been diagnosed Bipolar for a few years but my husband has always said somethings "missing".

Had a 3 hour psychiatric assessment with 3 psychiatrists today who all confirmed BP 1 and BPD.

Going to send recommendations to my new psychiatrist I see mid October. they're alluding to private hospital therapy DBT treatment.

Did I get it right that you can "outgrow" BPD and once diagnosed BPD doesn't always forever mean you're BPD?

They've traced back timelines from late teens.

I'm 36 now. Seen 3 different psychiatrists for Bipolar but none of them picked up on the BPD. I guess what you don't ask you don't know. And some of the symptoms might mimic each other.

In some sense I feel relief. Finally.

Now I can get the help I should have probably received years ago!
