I lost my job on Wednesday and now am feeling very rejected. It was a temp position so I know it could have ended at any time but it came as a shock. My husband doesn't get that I feel rejected. I am lucky to live in an area where there are tons of jobs but it is so hard looking for work. I am applying to 5-6 things a day but that takes all my energy.

Ugh!

I am so sorry to hear about this.

I always feel rejected when I lose jobs. It hurts.

I'm also applying for jobs but no where as many as you, and I fear that I will be soon applying for jobs outside my qualifications.

Wishing you well and hoping this all works out for you.

It always hurts to lose a job. At least it was a temp position, so try not to take it personal.

What you're feeling is a very natural disappointment but please be proud of yourself all the same - you committed to a valuable experience that will lead you on to better things. You're applying for jobs and looking for the next step so that's all you can ask of yourself. For the mean time try to enjoy the break a little and when the next opportunity knocks, take hold of it with both hands. All the best.

It's totally reasonable to feel rejected in that situation. But, I'm sure it wasn't personal. I hope you find a good job with lots of appreciation and prosperity.good luck
