Every time I open this site I see the picture of the girl who looks so sad. Many many years I looked like that. I was told by many professionals I was bad to the core. I was told I was untreatable that there is no hope. There were no meds nothing worked I just was doomed to be suicidialy depressed for the rest of my life. That time of badness has been replaced with being told I have a disorder and here are the skills to help u manage it. I can have a little happiness before I die. I hope no one ever has to suffer like I did. I hope everyone moves or gets the correct services in their area. I know moving is hard but if the services are not where you are go where they are. Please do not stay stuck. I was homeless four different times. I know it is hard but the rewards are much greater.

You are so very sweet. I'm so sorry you've had to go through all that

I hope that, despite it all, you were able to salvage some joy, some meaning in your life.

Therapy is overrated, so I say ... if therapy isn't where you are, find something else that works. But that's just me.

Thank you for sharing this with us dancinglady.

There is always hope.

But you're right - we need the correct support.

I'm sorry to hear about the struggles you have been through and I hope situations are better for you now.

Nobody is ever worthless or bad to the core, I hope you stay hopeful.

I was wondering if she was talking about your avatar Hooligan
