We have to answer this question for some introduction in my college class and I'm going blank and obsessing over how to answer it because I want it to be good enough and truthfully I want to sound more interesting than other people. So I guess I'm turning the question to you guys?

Help please. I'm having a mini panic attack.

There's a lot of things you could say, for instance what motivates you career wise?

What motivates me to go to college and do well is to eventually have a good paying job in clinical pathology so I can afford what I need, provide for my loved ones, and what I want such as vacations. I also eventually want to do humanitarian work for like the peace corps one day because I want to make a difference in people's lives.

Love motivates me. Love for my daughter and love for my husband. I'd be lost without them both. Also, my mental illness local support group through the Mental Health Association motivates me to press on day to day. I hope this helps.
Thanks for this!

Having a comfortable/luxurious life ... like being able to drive a nice car (or whatever is important to you ... perhaps a home), and travel when I want to ... motivates me to go to work everyday.

The question is completely open ended like that? Just what motivates you? Do you need to write an essay or is it a short answer to be given orally in class? For an essay, I would point out that there are different motivators for different aspects of my life and then go into more detail about various ones. For a short answer, I would try to find the broadest aspect of life to consider (maybe what motivates me to get out of bed everyday or something; basically in that sense, why I continue living). For that, I might say that obligation motivates me. Or love for my husband and daughter, like Tawnya said. Or you could think about what motivates you creatively. I don't know. Good luck.

I agree with the above posters.

They've given you some good suggestions.

Hard one if you're not overly motivated right in the moment, but I'm sure you might be able to think of a few things that have motivated you in the past.

Take care.
