I'm not sure what symptoms belong to my BPD and which ones belong to whatever else I have (my Pdoc and Therapist are still trying to figure it out). I am just curious, how much do meds help your BPD symptoms? Do they help? I don't know a whole lot about BPD, so if anyone knows whether it is a chemical disorder or not? Any help is appreciated-- I am just trying to understand.

My meds help with depression and mood stabilization which can help me cope with the traits of my BPD, but they are not actually medicating the BPD itself. BPD is a personality disorder and as such responds to therapy such as DBT, not medication.
