some times i shout at my husband for no reason
i could feel my temper getting the better of me
i have BPD but am normally never mood swingy
most of the time i feel numb
numb is better i thank mood swings as am not a raving lunatic
my husband is understanding but there is only so much he can take
i dont want to lose him because of my mood swings

Are you against taking meds? There are meds that help stabilize moods. I take Lamotragine aka Lamictal and it really helps me.

My biggest problem with mood is that when I'm sensitive, I overreact. Meds won't help with reactivity, but therapy will. As stated numerous times, DBT can help with reactivity. Things like radical acceptance, wise mind, thought distortions, etc help. My Pdoc told me to compare my reaction to other people's reactions. That way I can catch myself when I'm overreacting and try to calm myself down. I still have outbursts, but they're shorter and less severe than before.

I take Cymbalta, lithium and seroquel for my moods and I'm seeing a trauma therapy to learn how to tolerate them and not have outbursts.

That happens to me before I get my period it does start 2 weeks prior to my period and progressively gets worse until I get it. I'm actually going through it this week just tons of mood swings all day long it keeps changing and suicidal ideation is stronger as well. So if that could be a possibility you could check with either your primary or psych. I'm going to ask my psych when I see him next week.
