is it normal to experience extreme jealousy with borderline personality

its like daily i look at peoples relationships or friends talking to other people and i get an intense wave of rage take over and i start ignoring people threaten to kill myself and hurt myself due to jealousy that they will find new people to be around and leave

or just looking around friends and as much as i know i love them i cant stop feeling jealous that theyre hotter or funnier or kinder and people will see they're better people than i am as i know im a bad person and this is just one example but i want peoples focus and attention to be on me not in a selfish way but in a way that it reminds me that people wont leave or abandon me

i know i sound like a spoilt brat but i havent told my Councillor this as i know how self absorbed i sound but thats not who i am at all and then i dunno who i am and its a constant struggle

Yes it is normal. Stems from insecurity and possibly too high of self expectations. Tell your counselor.
