Have you ever felt (as good as) unconditionally loved?
In my experience, the closest to (experiencing and not doubting) unconstitutional love is being loved by someone with at least some borderline personality. I equate love here with hate. But I hope it could/can be otherwise. Maybe it would just take (even more) time. Whether it's healthy to be (pretty much) unconditionally loved is another matter. It's better to learn how to at least learn to live with doubt and fear. But if could avoid it, may that not be best?

Our memories are more or less split in two by abstractions, conceptual reductions. Mood states with memories, concepts, attached. Memories of pain and those of joy. It causes instability, changeability. Fearing that will leave an emptiness between pain and joy and a greater divide. See Me, Feel Me, Touch Me, Heal Me. |

I think that it is impossible for a human being to love another human being unconditionally. Only God can do that.

I felt unconditional love from my mother, my grandmother and my current husband. I always was afraid that I would do something to disappointment them but they just kept on loving me.

I was loved unconditionally by mother & father. That's not to say they didn't have expectations of me & weren't ever disappointed with me but neither one of these influenced their love.
On the other hand, I have yet to meet a man who could love me unconditionally. There are always conditions & I don't seem to measure up. |
