It's been 6 months since we went on our separate ways. We started off as both strangers who met on a local bpd support group, moved on to meeting each other in a group meet, flirted after a few group outing, went to club, had my first kiss, shortly after we separated due to communication issues on my side.
During that period, my thoughts went from blaming her for abandoning me..... to understanding why my communication issues killed everything. I thought overhauling myself to look like a more independent person I would be able to better care for her emotional needs, which turned out to be a big error on my part. Truth was, I am stingy with my compliments and I was not expressive enough to show her I really want to keep her. Past few months, I've been taking her off my mind by occupying myself with more office work, but eventually, it got to a point where my stress builds up from having to juggle my workloads. I realised this isn't a correct way to avoid the issue. Plus, she just broke up again and I don't really think of talking face to face with her. A mate from the same support group recommends that I take my time to write a letter of apology to her without expecting a reply. Right now, I'm unsure what is the best way to find a closure to this, is there anyone whom can help me?

I personally agree that writing a letter or a message to her could be beneficial. You would be able to take your time and express to her what you felt you were unable to express to her before, without feeling pressured. Let her know why you acted the way you did in the relationship, and how much she meant/still means to you. I also agree that it's best you don't expect a response in order to spare yourself from possible disappointment. You would have at least tried, and getting it off your chest may give you a little peace of mind.
