I have read lots of info about BPD. I have read lots of info about how to be healthy.

I am simply following that good advice.

I am not self harming. I am not getting hysterical anymore. Been there, done that, it didn't get me what I wanted.

For some reason I was thinking that I (and perhaps others) respond to your posts more when you are overly emotional so I need to respond to this. I am glad you have learned from your past mistakes. Wouldn't it be wonderful if more people would see their flaws and try to improve? Since you joined PC, you have figured so much out and are doing so much better!

You know what got to me the most? That people who supposedly love you can be so hateful and cruel.

I have a pretty bad family. Probably others are better.

Now I'm over the shock.

I just invited my friend to come up and help me get rid of a lot of stuff, told her she could take what she wants and sell it.

I pondered if I was setting myself up for some possible big hurt from this. But, whatever happens, I don't care. So, it's OK.

Being cautious.

Few families or relationships are perfect. When you figured out how you were being used, you put a stop to it. Perhaps some in your family have to get used to the new boundary you are enforcing. If they don't come around, you have friends at PC and your future is sure to have more IRL friendships. Nothing stays exactly the same (and if it does we are not growing). It's like you said, "I've (You've) got this!"

They really didn't come around. That's how much respect and regard they had for me and my boundaries.

It was my husband's birthday and my mom did not even fb wish him a happy birthday. This woman is at war. After her SIL put up with her ruining our lives and gave her lots of money!

I've just been leaving it all alone, though I did text my sister how that hurt my h.

I don't think anyone could imagine that their family, given nothing but love by them, a really good daughter and sister and niece, can just be written off over the narcissistic rage of a sick, old mother.

Nothing makes sense.

And they don't feel the least bit of empathy for me, either. I told them all I had been diagnosed with Borderline traits, and they all know how hard a time I have been having for years. Shame on them!

If you have books, CDs, movies, games that you want to get rid of, have you ever heard of:

Put in the books ISBN (or UPC label for CDs etc) and they will tell you if anyone is buying it--if more than one place is, you can compare what each will pay and see if the public rates them well. Most of the vendors buy more than books. I only sell to places that let you print a free shipping label, pack them up with boxes I already have anyways and donate the items no one wants to buy....
