My best friend has recently started to talk to a girl he met a few months ago, after a hiatus. She had been ignoring him for a little while and I actually felt happy about that...even though I know that's horrible.

Now that they are talking again, I feel so jealous and I can't help it. It's so intense and this has happened every time...

My mind instantly jumps to conclusions. "Will he replace me with her?" "Is she more interesting than me?" "He'll get tired of me soon enough." "I might as well leave him be and distance myself cause this friendship's over anyway."

Ugh...
