Hi

So, my psychiatrist doens't think I have BPD at all. She thinks I'm too mellow for BPD. She thinks my previous behavior was the already diagnosed BP mania and substance abuse, two of which can seem similar to BPD.

Since the onset of my bipolar and the beginning my substance abuse were at about the same time, and previous to that I was a calm person, no rages or anything that my psychiatrist thinks as a consequence of the alcohol, and a reaction to trauma.

I'm going to ask my therapist to halt the BPD diagnosis until I leave the current depressive bout.

Anyone with a similar issue?
