I want to give a sincere apology to those of you who suffer with Borderline Personality Disorder.
I know that the post that I made that hurt my friend so much hurt many of you as well and it was paranoid, very paranoid, shortsighted, ignorant, inconsiderate, cold and cruel.
It has been bothering me a lot and I feel like a real @sshole over it.
Please forgive me if you can.
Ironically (if that's the right word for it) I ran across information during some research not too long after that and discovered a kind of BPD that doesn't get nearly enough attention.
It shares some similarities to the standard form of BPD but, has many differences as well.

Most of it's symptoms as described by BPD Coach, AJ Mahari line up with so many of my own thought processes and feelings that it is shocking. It's often referred to as "The Quiet Borderline".
Also, Quiet Borderlines tend to fly under the radar and often times by the time the condition is discovered it is too late as many of them have already taken their own lives.

I guess now I'm reaping what I've sewn or getting my just desserts. This isn't just a matter of worrying about having everything that I read about or hear about. I analyze everything that I run across and analyze myself as well and if something doesn't match or only matches somewhat I move on.
I will definitely be bringing this up to my doctor when I see her again.

But, again I am so sorry for that previous post that I really don't know quite what to say to try to make it less painful.
I feel terrible. Like damn fool even.

Thanks for sharing, I didn’t notice the post. I don’t get to read in this forum much... I also have heard the term “quiet borderline”. Unfortunately I’m in the UK and have found very little “help” for any mental health issues
