Hello,
I am going through a really tough time and looking for a change. Would moving countries change anything? |

Years ago I was severely depressed. When I got out of the hospital I impulsively decided to move to another city. As in I walked away from my job and townhouse and everything. I just up and left. For me, it did me a lot of good. New scenery, new faces, new adventures.
Just remember that your issues still follow you. It doesnt fix everything. For me it was just a different environment to sort things out. |

In theory it could do, especially if part of your difficulty is with the “mental health serves” or lack of it. They aren’t even honest often and don’t even try to avoid harming people. JMO

Everywhere I go... I find myself. I’m always the same person even if I’m in a different place. I’ve moved around a lot all my life and while a new environment always presents new opportunities for growth... I still have to deal with my issues. That said, some places are definitely better to be than others depending on what you’re looking for and need.

If your problem is the environment you're in, it could definitely do good. Moving countries is a pretty big deal though and might be a lot of added stress. Moving to the opposite side of your current country might be an idea too. I moved an hour away from my family 3 years ago and it was the best thing I've done for myself because environment was a huge part of why I felt so bad, but I still have days where I feel horrible - partially due to environment still since it's not ideal, but also just because I'm broken.
