Or any therapy? DBT? IFS? Dynamic? Psychoanalysis? Anything?

Does anyone consider themselves ''recovered'' who has been dxd with this? I am sure that ''many'' no longer have the ''citeria'' or enough to ''fit'' the dx. Please forgive me if I am intruding here, I have never had this dx (although a therapist IRL who was very angry with me for no reason except for their wounded ego - I had read a few books.... said I might have it. I think he had severe NPD. I have researched this...And no I do not have anything against anyone with NPD who does not act out and harm others...From a professional that is hard to swallow He said I was ''too attached''.... so became brutally mean to discourage the ''transference'' which he had cultivated.....And another professional IRL said how ''disappointed'' she was that I had not ''attached'' to her..... What did she want from me?

I cannot tolerate meds so would prefer no discussion of this. I also kindly request no reference to the ''situation'' in the world ... (this is a trigger to me and as I try to respect others needs and preferences I deeply appreciate it when others give me the same respect in my threads
