Sometimes I wonder if people are ignoring me after I text them because I often get no response. I often have to message people a few times before I get a single response from them.

Does anyone else feel the same way when people don't text them back?

Yeah. I call people a lot to see if they actually like me enough to answer the phone when that's not a super common thing for people around my age (I'm 27 and I guess we don't like answering phone calls haha). Some people don't respond to texts immediately and I know who these people are and I don't worry if this is the case unless it's been over a day then it's anything from "did they die?" to "do they hate me?" For people that usually respond quickly, if it's a while, I tend to bombard them either increasingly concerning for my own safety or increasingly with rage.

Lately I've just been whining about being ignored to other people though and trying to believe them when they say stuff like "they're probably just busy." I do still think they need a break or want to permanently avoid me though.

Right now a lot of people havent called or texted me (one person it's been months) when we used to talk or text on a daily basis, and if I reach out to these people it's always "I was about to call you!" or "I was just going to text and see how things are!" and, feeling like that's BS, I'm just not reaching out and seeing if they actually contact me before I contact them.
