Whoops I posted on a thread before posting an introduction here. I'm new and just getting to grips with this website. I think I'm going to find it weird talking openly about BPD ........I'm nervous about posting personal stuff, that I'll say too much and make myself way too vulnerable and then I think well I need support from people in similar situations. I feel very much alone in this in my real life.

Hi, I was hoping to find someone who can tell me if irrational running from problems and everyday life is a part of Borderline Personality Disorder. Please, I need to know. That is my bad habit that I can't seem to want to stop.

I've been coming on and off again to the forums but this is my first time in this subforum. I apparently was officially diagnosed with BPD a while ago, but no one thought to update my online chart until now. :/ My current medication manager said that it was on my chart for a while just not the online one - she didn't realize that - so I took a screenshot that showed when the diagnosis was added.

I sent in a form that will give me access to my health records from this clinic where I've been seeing various providers. We'll see who actually first diagnosed me with BPD and didn't tell me to begin with. At least my current provider seems to have her stuff together.

I'm so grateful I've found a site that has such specific forums and threads. Very much needed by myself and many others. Thank you.

Hello I am new to this site and although i do not have a diagnosis yet i have done a bit of research about BPD and i seem to fit the description like a glove. The only thing that does not apply is the self hard and suicidal aspect. But this would explain why i have always had an issue with relationships and i haven't had a solid one that lasted longer then a few months in quite some time now. I am hoping being here i will be able to get some answers and as soon as i am diagnosed i can start the path to a somewhat normal life.

Hello Doc John and everyone. I'm new here and am looking forward to interacting with you guys. Divorced from a bpd woman...a couple of years now...and it's 10,000 times better than it was when I was with her. Still dealing with the repercussions though of that big mistake (being involved with her in any context). But...This too shall pass. Again, looking forward to the comments and helpful insights from others who have ridden that roller coaster.

Hello, I'm new to this group! Not new to the multiple alphabet diagnosis that each hospital stay or eval changes.

We have 4 kids that we fostered then adopted. Our baby was 4mths, born addicted to Cocaine/Opiates & can't believe she's 15yrs old now with oldest bio sister (sib group of 3) age 20.

Any comments, suggestions, others struggling raising kids with multiple mental illness's ARE GLADLY WELCOMED.

Do of bpd about a year ago. I, too, look forward to a safe place to talk about this illness that I’ve had for about half a century. I’m new by the way. 🐾

Hello! I'm Interupted GirlI have BPD with some other personality traits, I opened a group calles "Living with BPD" but there are no members yet I wanted everyone to know that I'd be delighted to see people joining, so we can help each other, be supportive, and posts things that will help everyone also there's this thread called "Supportive thread for everyone" where you can post what you are going through and we'll give you advices and help you with whatever you're going through!

Hugs to everyone!

Hello I hope this isn't a stupid question, but my CBT therapist told me that I have some traits of Borderline Personality Disorder. Does this mean I have the disorder or I just have a few traits of it? His statement confused me and I didn't know exactly what he meant by it. Could someone help me out with this. Thank you.

lmao. I've been misdiagnosed for too long. this came out and I'm finally at ease.

so, I guess I'm gonna welcome myself to the club.

the title of the thread doesn't sound like a sound choice, to be honest. but I'll go with it.

I keep coming back to this place; the community is very supportive
