Thx DocJohn, this area on PC is nothing short of a godsend for me. To have an area to discuss these issues is awesome.

mlpHolmes, quick thx to you too for the post on the chat times. I've wanted to participate but I've been missing them. The clear post on the current chat times was really appreciated ...
Thanks for this!

Hi, Kristeena, welcome to PsychCentral (PC). That's too bad the doctor responded to you that way. I know Lake Placid (my parents had a summer home there 20 years ago), not so big that you can find a lot of different doctors. Have you been to a counselling center at all, looked into therapy? There's more than just the medical care to feeling better. Learning to work with the symptoms can make you feel better too.

Hello everyone. I am diagnosed "bipolar" but think I may also be borderline. Trying to learn as much as I can about the disorder and possible treatments.

I'm new to this group. It's been a tough 30 years for our kids, grand kids, relatives, friends and I. I'd like to find a way to live peacefully with him during the few years we have left! Does anyone have a spouse diagnosed with BPD? Is there any hope?

Hi jnet,

I replied to your post above and I encourage you to post in the general posting area below.

In my other post I shared a link to a site for families of BPD that you might find helpful too: http://www.bpdfamily.com/message_board/

See you below...
