Trauma processing from EMDR has relieved most of my bulimic urges. Mainly the binging. The problem I am having is being triggered from the feeling of fullness after I eat. I guess from over a decade of purging after binging to the point of my stomach bursting has caused a psychological effect of automatically needing to purge at any fullness feeling. I have to be careful and make sure I eat enough to be satisfy hunger without being full.

Probably so. Maybe you can eat small meals during the day instead of three big meals. Then you can get your nourishment without triggering the old bulimia issues.

That is so great that EDMR is working/did work for you to relieve the urges! I know what you mean about wanting to purge after any sign of fullness. I don't have advice, since I am basically experiencing the same thing (eat small meals, rather than all out bingeing like I used to... but feel so bad after....) but I wanted you to know I understand.

Yeah, I have that problem too. Once I get to the point where I can feel 'full' in my stomach I get the urge to purge. But if I don't eat enough then I'm too hungry and have the urge to binge. It's a fine bloody line, that's for certain. Congrats on all the steps you've been taking in your recovery. I think you're doing awesome.
