Finally.........3 weeks free.
__________________ When a child’s emotional needs are not met and a child is repeatedly hurt and abused, this deeply and profoundly affects the child’s development. Wanting those unmet childhood needs in adulthood. Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors. |

Thanks Mindfulness, trying to eat slowly and enjoy everything I do eat. And relaxation exercises. If I can get past that initial urge to run to the fridge and grab something to eat (when I'm just craving stuff and not actually hungry) I can be okay. Back to one day. At 60 with an anorexia starting point transitioning into binge/starve, this has to have been about the 50,000th time I have lost control. When you look at the stats and the belief that history repeats itself, I don't have a great deal of hope for the future......
