Has anyone done Nutritional therapy for their bulimia? Is started 4 weeks ago since my medical insurance covers it 100% with no limits. So far so good. I have not binged or purged in two weeks and I am starting to lose weight naturally. I follow my 4 goals I get weekly(that we agree upon) and so far I feel great.

This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.
Thanks for this!

Congrats Moxie! Hope you're doing as well as you were then. Can you say more about nutritional therapy? Anything that insurance covers is worth looking into.

So far so good. I do slip up about every 2 weeks but my binging and purging is under control.

Here are the goals I get weekly.

Week 7
She changed the goal of walk 10-15k a day because it was just all consuming me and I was becoming depressed feeling like a failure for not getting 10,000 so she changed it to on average for the week of 8-12K

Goal:
Walk on average 8-12 K a day

Week 7 she cut down the amount of veggies because I was frustrated trying to eat 1-2 cups at lunch and dinner.
Goal:
Have vegetables 1-2 cups a day

Week 7 she added this because I travel around all day for work and would not eat up to 5-7 hrs between meals and then of course come home and binge and purge.

Goal:
Preplan meals for the car every day

Week six she added this goal because going out to dinner with my husband always guaranteed me overeating and purging.
Goal:
Snack on a piece of fruit and Peanut Butter before going out to dinner

Week 5 she added this goal
Goal:
Target 20 strength/core movements every week 2-3 times a week 2 sets until failure

Week 4 She added this goal
Goals:

Eat within 15-60 minutes after strength training

Week 3 she added this goal.
Goal::
Limit drinks to twice a week one drink at each sitting

Week 2 Goals:
Goal 1::
Lunch: 1/2 cup cooked carbs peas, quinoa, legumes, brown rice, beans, lentils, chickpeas, butternut squash, pumpkin, sweet potato with protein with 1-2 cups of non starchy vegetables

Goal 2::
Dinner: 1/2 cup cooked carbs peas, quinoa, legumes, brown rice, beans, lentils, chickpeas, butternut squash, pumpkin, sweet potato with protein 1-2 cups of non starchy vegetables

Goal 3::
No sweets trial this week

Goal 4::
Snack: 2-3 cups of fruits with 2 tbsp. of PB every day
