Hi everyone!

In coordination with Doc John I decided to test a potential new chat program. Being educated in many aspects of Information Technology, although possibly a bit aged, I would like to invite you to join me at a moderated IT Cafe.

chat's confusing, i'm never certain which room its decided to put me in

As far as I recall, the Auditorium is customary for hosted/moderated chat.

I would like to invite anyone to join us tomorrow - I know, the time may look a bit weird, but since I am in Europe ... I already put it late, so a good deal of people shall be able to attend - hopefully.

i might not be able to make the one tomorrow, rewin, my mum's got a thing that she has to go to so i'll have to drive her there so i dont know what time i can get back for

its okay willow - and you do make sense - you have been propositioned to be a "designated cab/taxi driver" for your mom - I know that racket quite well myself

It shouldn't be a one-off event, and there will be a next one, I am pretty sure

@rewin, reminder the anxiety and depression support chat is scheduled to use the Auditorium every other Thursday (meaning tonight) from 7PM EDT to 8PM EDT. Thank you @CANDC

Suggestion: either it be every other week, whenever the audition isn't being used, or a IT room gets made?

I just wanted you to know, that my chat shall not interfere with yours ... for simple reason of different scheduling. Besides - there is not yet a "fixed slot" of time for this chat programme, as I want to try how the community would like it - or if it is even needed.

In any case - I usually check the calendar, which I did in this case too, as to not breach any older moderated hosts slot.

CANDC is not an admin ... just a mod+, I'd say. Besides, no need to worry, willow - we are civilized here, as you shall know at some point

Ahm - as far as I am able to see, I did add it to the MSF calendar and I shall be able to put it/administrate that myself - but thank you for offering, it is deeply appreciated.

Well - it was not a success - but try, try again.
I will be back with a different appointment time, same place, more lead time, and hopefully more members wanting to know.

I hope, I did get the times right, in any case, UTC and CEST are the reference and thus in any case valid.
