I feel the same way.
I think the worst part is that it always seems to come from people who are incredibly sheltered and had a good relationship with their own parent(s). In a way, that makes it worse. I'm jealous of people who could afford to be that naive. |

I'm right there with you Shattered. I chose never to have children because of my upbringing. The other load of crap you hear is when people say "Once you hold your baby you'll love it no matter what." If that was true there would be no child abuse/neglect.
