PureGood Newly Joined Member Since Apr 2024 Location: Europe Posts: 2	Today at 11:25 AM #1 I'm confused about my thoughts and feelings towards my mother. She did not adequately care for me and showed neglect in so many ways, and left me with people who weren't safe. Ì met her recently and I had so much anger about her, yet also confusingly I sort of wanted to protect her or at least my relationship with her. Why is that, when she's behaved so horribly?

My Support Forums is the online community that was originally begun as the Psych Central Forums in 2001. It now runs as an independent self-help support group community for mental health, personality, and psychological issues and is overseen by a group of dedicated, caring volunteers from around the world.
