if you did something today for your inner child, then post in here

I've been watching a new cartoon called baby ricky, all about learning basic things in life (what a se saw is, what color the grass is), those types of things

I also ate some harrybo candies today and drunk some fizzy pop

Today I cuddled my teddy bear when I was sad, and listened to some soothing music from video games I played as a child.

I hope you enjoy baby ricky!

the episodes are only 5 minits long, but it is worth it.

the theme tune is pretty catchy too!

baby ricky time, baby ricky time, baby ricky time, " etc etc etc etc

Because of diabetes and food intolerances, it's been a long time since I've had French toast.

Today I woke up with a low blood sugar reading. Not dangerous, but falling. So I made myself some French toast using almond milk and gluten-free bread. I drizzled it with honey instead of slathering it in syrup, because I *do* still have to be realistic.

I have two big soft bears, and three dogs, a small, a medium, and a large. They're all from different thrift stores, but they're mostly in really good shape. I find it hard to sleep without having one of them to cuddle up to.

I don't think I'm going to get any more now, but I could change my mind if I see a really good, big, cuddly one. I love pigs, and would love to have a giant pig plushie.

my mom never asked me how i was doing so i have been asking myself that as often as i feel i need to.

and i have been working on my rejection issues - not only because of my emotionally distant mom (she couldn't help it, that's how she was raised) but also from my sibs icing me out when i was a kid because they felt (very ironically) that i was mom's favorite. (one of them apologized to me last year) i have been consciously rejecting their treatment of me as being their issue, not mine, and separate to who i really am.

i have been looking into the mirror and telling myself how happy i am to see me. and praising myself whenever i feel i have done something good. this might sound a bit nutty but it has really helped me fill some of the void. i used to feel empty inside but it is getting better.

after a lifetime of passively accepting the status quo, to think that i, me, myself, can, even in the slightest way, fix what i feel needs to be fixed...well, it feels amazing and encouraging..it isn't too late.

terry... these are good,.

while my mother did ask me how I was doing, no matter how I responded (I was good, I was bad, I'm not sure), it was always the same answer- oh well
