Hi

I’m wondering whether anyone on this board, might be familiar with John Bradshaw’s inner child process that he describes in his book HOMECOMING.

I’ve been working through the programme over the last year, and am currently working on the school going phase.

As you may know, as part of this process, I'm supposed to share my school age child history WITH A SUPPORT PERSON. Ideally it should be someone with whom I have a relationship, and who I can trust to be an empathetic witness, and validate my experience and legitimize the pain.

Unfortunately I don’t have anyone in my circle at the moment who is available to play that role for me. I can’t afford a therapist at this time.

So I’m wondering if sharing my story here could be an option. Whilst not ideal, it feels better than not sharing at all.

I’ll send through the detail in next message.

Thanks in advance for your support.
