I'm 47. I didn't know that the Jetsons, He-Man, and She-Ra were relatively new. LOL Those I watched back in the 1980s. I think the transformers, Smurfs, and other cartoons were also out, but they remade those into movies these days. I like the originals better - but I think that's what all older folk say about remakes.

I love all those cartoons though.
They are hard to find. I used to watch them on Boomerang but don't get that channel anymore. I found Bugs Bunny on ME TV (Memorable Entertainment TV) which shows old programs like that.

I'm 60 and the Jetsons isn't new! It was around when I was a kid, and I don't know if they made a new one or a reboot. If so you either saw the reboot, or they were showing reruns of the 1960's cartoon.

Forgot about Charlie Brown, I loved that cartoon and the books too, as I once had a bunch of them.

Yeah, we "older folk" do like originals better, be it a cartoon, tv series, movie, or song.

My two favorites are pink panther and Felix the cat. Their original shows had no voice just music. Loved that. Loved the early loony tunes too.

Sorry - I went overboard with sharing of the individual cartoons.

I love Pink Panther and Felix the Cat, too, Nammu! In California, there was this building I used to drive by on the freeway that had a picture of Felix the Cat!

Oh, I also used to love Inspector Gadget!

I might try to find those pics and share them here, too! I'm trying to find pics of all the cartoons mentioned by everyone to share.

I keep forgetting that the Jetsons and other cartoons are now considered "old."

I might check out ME TV in the future.

I had no idea the Jetsons was around before the 1980s! That's cool - and rather innovative! I thought we'd have flying cars by 2000, LOL.

I've never heard of "The Loud House" before, but it seems like the kids like to get into mischief, but also have lots of fun with pretend play:

I've also never seen "In the Night Garden," but I would love to sleep in a night garden and gaze up at the stars and the moon! That sounds like fun!

I never did the camping thing in the front or back yard as a kid because we lived in apartments (never a house). It would have been fun to do though.

I tried to look up GIF photos to share of each of the cartoons you mentioned, but there are a few that I wasn't able to find, and a few that I guessed at when trying to share. If you can share photos, that would be helpful, too! Or if anyone knows of these newer cartoons to share photos or GIFs.

We love pictures of cartoons!

This was a great idea, @raging vortex

Yes good idea Raging Vortex to start this thread. I know pictures are helpful but I have neither the skill nor time to do all that. Besides some GIF's can be hard on my eyes. Sorry, that's for other folks.

Some of the cartoons are even older than the 1960's. The Flintstones was another 1960's cartoon, and they had stuff like ATM's, video chats, and cars---they were the "Modern Stone Age".

People still drive like lunatics today, so I'm not ready for flying cars. If they can't drive in 2 dimensional space, 3 would be insane.

Yeah these cartoons are "old" like me. And on a related note, "classic videos" now includes the 1990's to early 2000's. It used to be 1970's and 80's but now it's including the 2000's. Talk about feeling old....

I agree - the flying cars in today's world would just be more fatalities and accidents; people can barely handle two-dimensional driving on the ground!

I love the Flinstones, too! I loved the names "Pebbles and Bam Bam!" They always cracked me up growing up.

I'm sorry about the pictures being too hard on your eyes. I was only sharing so that we can all see a visual excerpt of the cartoon. I hope it's okay to still share pictures??

I'm still trying to figure out how to permanently get rid of the "blue light" on my laptop and replace it with the more amber light tints. My poor eyes are struggling with the bright lights and tiny letters on the computer screen. --Perhaps par for the course of aging/getting old. I'm only 47, but I can imagine it getting worse from here. Yikes!

They had a Pebbles and Bam Bam spin off.

Post pictures if you want. I can handle them, just don't ask me to post them. I don't know how to do it and don't feel like trying to either. I've had a hard enough time with technology as it is.

Totally understand the fussing with technology bit!

Okie dokie - I'll post some pics!

I was just referring to those other cartoons that I couldn't find pics for because I'm unfamiliar with the cartoons. I was thinking that some people can find those pics if they are young enough to know what they are, LOL.

I still struggle with some technology, but I really want to learn how to code - beginning with the "coding for dummies" book one day. All the younger kids are learning to code at very young ages, so I thought I'd catch up with the times.

It's hard to age in this new technology age! LOL.
