Why not call the doctor and ask him? Meanwhile, drink a glass of water an hour and see if the pain eases some.

Yes I think you should call your doctor. Staying hydrated is great, but be careful - it is possible to drink too much water. A woman was on a radio show contest to win a Wii gaming system - the challenge was to drink a large amount of water and she died - so sad. I hope you feel better.

I did a kidney flush last week with water, lime, lemon, and liquid cayenne. My kidney pain went away after that. A glassful of water an hour is a good amount to drink (maybe everyone should, not just those with compromised kidneys?) It helps flush the toxins out, and if we don't drink sodas and other stuff with caffeine, it helps rest the kidneys too.

Hope you're feeling better.

Call your doc, I have chronic kidney failure (stable now), not the kind you have that got "fixed". But I sure wouldn't want to be guessing at what to do. Kidneys are way too important!

Hope your pain goes away.
