Alright,
I finally made the therapy appt for my PTSD. Man, I hate talking about it. You would think after 6 years, I would have been able to forget it ever happened. Living in flash backs lately.

Who would have thought ignoring it then would be the major reason behind all my pain today?

If only I would have known...

Hope everyone has a painlessend day

Any trauma, whether physical or mental ~ if ignored will come back to bite you if it's not dealt with. You've GOT to completely deal with it openly and honestly or it will manifest itself one way or another. It won't be pretty! LOL I've had it happen to me too.

6 years is nothing ~ How about 56 years??? I should have talked about it a long time ago. lol When I finally did, the dam broke.

God bless and best of luck! I'm glad you made the appointment. Hugs, Lee
Thanks for this!

Leed,
How horrible for you!!! That is a long time to deal with it. My body started shutting down after about 2 years.

Until recently I have been going with the if I ignore it, it will go away philosophy. Guess no more .

I just don't comprehend how something I saw or happened to me causes me physical pain and impairments. My mind can't wrap around. Oh well, I guess you live and learn.

Hugs,
mj

Hey mj778

I have been dealing with my PTSD truly since 1992 so I think it's going for 19 years on working on PTSD. I have to agree with Leed when Leed said things that you don't deal with finds there way of biting your
butt everytime!

There is wonderful support here for PTSD and almost everything under the sun that is good and hormounous for give me for which some words are missed spelled it's not intentional.....

It's an honor meet to you mj778
