Hope nobody minds if I whinge a little.

I had all kinds of plans for what I wanted to get done today. Instead there's a cold front moving in and I'm having a fibro flair. I ache all other. My brain feels like mush. Don't have the gumption to get up off the sofa.

That was a riot! LOL I'm a chronic painer (spinal troubles) and I can certainly relate. i've been fighting this stuff for 26 years and I'm getting really tired. Every time the barometer moves just a BIT I go into a horrible flare - and the normal pain isn't so hot in the first place. My doc and I are having trouble finding the meds that work. I'm extremely hard to medicate - in fact, I wake up on the operating room table during surgeries! I've done it twice now and almost beat the surgeon up! LOL I'd just like to go to sleep until they find a new miracle drug. (yeah, right).

Lizardlady, I hear that, loud and clear. Not winter here, but 2 weeks of solid rain and damp with flooding in some areas. The RAIN kills me as much as the cold....

What fresh hell is this?

I hear you LOUD and CLEAR...life certainly sucks BIG time at times...and way more than we would like...

I am having a flair right now also...PAIN SUCKS and then comes another round...
