Hi all,

I am new here. I have experienced chronic widespread pain for 2-3 years now. It takes the form of a burning, pins and needles sensation right under my skin - severe on my back, and now speading to my stomach and legs. Sometimes even the touch of my clothes on my skin is excruciating. I have been to many doctors - there is no consences on what this pain could be. myofacial pain syndrome? fybromyagia? Rheumatoid arthritis? On my last blood test, i had a very high inflamation result. My doctor wants to try Humira for widespread inflammation.
Any experiences with this drug?

First off we're glad you are here!!

Read everything about this drug. If your blood levels are that high, I would be thankful he jumped on this early. If you trust him & his reputation then think seriously about this med or one in this category .

I have RA & fibro. You are not alone in this.
Keep posting with updates & how you are feeling.

Take good care.

If you have even a cold, or any infection issues, you can't take Humira because it shuts down the immune system. So you become quite vulnerable to everything out there. It also carries lots of sides effects. A lot depends on you & what you can/are willing to tolerate. As kinda said, read, read, read.

Thank you for the welcome! I have been reading this pain and the fibro check-in forums for awhile now. I am, frankly, quite concerned about Humira. It seems to be a powerful drug. I will READ, READ, READ, for sure.

I am just frustrated with this pain. I continue to try to work fulltime, and often that is a challenge.

I am getting another referral to a Pain Specialist. I just want some answers.

Thanks for listening
