I've got physio today and on the one hand i can't wait, but flip that over and i'm laying in bed praying she'll ring and cancel Yes the physio helps but while i'm there it's excruetishating ! I come out covered in bruises, i know it's for my own good but it's really not pleasent. But once it's over i should feeling a bit less delicate.

Why on earth would you be covered in BRUISES??? Physical therapy isn't supposed to HURT -- at least not according to any therapist I went to!!! It's supposed to help you loosen up and strengthen -- not beat you half to death!

I will grant you that usually I was very achy & sore afterwards and had to lay down for awhile -- I have severe spinal problems. But I SURE never came home bruised!

I think you'd better ask your therapist to be a little more gentle on you! Do they KNOW about the bruising? If not, make sure they do! God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee

She knows she bruises me and is always apologising for it. She has to release my muscles where they go into servere spasm. I was warned b4 we embarked on the cause of treatment that it is painful. The physio's were made to experience it and practice on each other b4 they were ever allow to use it on patients. And to be honest it's the only thing that's helped a bit 'nice' physio got me no where. I dread it but look forward to it, strange as it sounds lol
