I'm so glad you have less pain now! Thank God! It took me about 25 years to get my pain managed, and I'm not exaggerating. I could NOT find a doctor who was willing to prescribe the proper pain meds. It was agonizing, and more than once I almost gave up.

So I'm glad you got your pain finally managed! Hold onto that doctor! And if there comes a time when the meds don't work as well anymore, make SURE they increase the medication or else change it to something else. After we've been on the meds for awhile, we become "used" to them, and the body needs an increase. So you have to let the doctors KNOW that your body is used to it, and needs an increase. DEMAND that they treat your pain!! You have to be your own ADVOCATE because if you don't, no one else will!

I wish you the very best! God bless and please take care. And remember -- the doctors are working FOR YOU. They aren't any better than you are either, so don't be intimidated by them! Hugs, Lee

wow glad you got help. I was in a car accident in my early 20s and got little help due to not having insurance. Later I was treated and to this day 30 years later i have terrible pain from my neck to my mid thoracic area.
My doc has been good too and usually listens carefully to what I need. Heat helps me to sometiimes.
Take care of yourself and I am so glad you have a doc to listen. sami

....and pain can really drain you, too, and can really make you tired. Right now, I'm alternating between Tylenol and prescription ibuprofen--which is about 800 miligrams per cap. But even then, I try not to over do it; I will sometimes try to go without any for a while, but pain is a b****!
