Has your doctor ever tried anti-epileptic medication to ease your symptoms? I have heard that it can be helpful in some cases of fibromyalgia... I hope that your doctor is able to find the right med and dosage for you soon!

Hi ~ It would seem to me that you should be on a long-acting medication, like MS Contin or OpanaER -- something that lasts 8 hrs or so. The Norco doesn't last long at all. You're lucky if it lasts even CLOSE to your next dosage, and usually it doesn't.
I'm pretty sure Norco does come in higher strengths but then you get more "Tylenol" too, which is damaging to your liver. How long have you been on Norco? I hope you have occasional Liver Panels' done to check on your liver function. I wish you the very best. Let us know what happens, ok? I don't go back till her till june or july so I may see if I can get into see her on Monday or Tuesday |

Neurontin is helpful for many with Fibro.
Personally I have yet to find any medication to relieve my pain its always at a 7 or higher. Yoga and meditation is the only help I have found. Hope you find some relief __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

I didn't like Neurontin either --- I take Topamax better. I don't have side effects. I especially don't feel "LOOPY." Neurontin made me feel SO loopy! I don't get that with Topamax.
You DO need something that lasts longer, that's for sure. Ask your doctor for that. Hugs, Lee __________________ The truth shall set you free but first it will make you miserable..........................................Garfield |
