I've been dealing with pain that is chronic since 2011. Everything hurts, when someone asks me what hurts, I'm just like, what hurts? Everything!! My arms, legs, back, neck, shoulders,....just about everything. Some days its not too bad, but other days its really bad and I have to take Tylenol.
I have depression and anxiety. I went to the doc for back pain, and when she examined me she said my muscles were very tight, probably from anxiety. I'd really like to go to massage therapy, but insurance won't cover it.

Hello awesomeness05, do you have a diagnosis? It helps to know what it is we have. I have arthritis and like you, I have pain everywhere too. Hugs

Have you ever been to a neurologist? There are known pain conditions that your regular Dr. may not be able to find.

The sooner you find out the better. I started out suffering from chronic, daily migraines, and as with any pain, now have to deal with the pain from the fallout. You start favoring something and that changes your muscle positon and possibly skeletal alignment. Now not only is there pain in the head, but the back, legs, arms....

Ask your D.r to refer you. Depression can cause pain as well, but its best to know what you are dealing with.

I agree with all the advice you have been given here. Ask your primary care to send you to a pain specialist. It would be best to find out exactly what the problem is. It may be something that's easily treated. If it isn't easily treated, then at least you will be on your way towards treating it. Good luck,
