I had been dealing with major back pain and sciatic nerve damage. I just woke up on July 7th and couldn't move! I spent the night at the hospital as I couldn't walk out of the ER and they gave me every med they possibly could. I went to physical therapy until November with no progress. Finally I had surgery to remove some of the disc between L4 and L5 and removal of a bone spur on November 19th. I got home on the 21st and was on Dilauded. Anyone that has ever been on that knows how incredibly hard it is to get off of it! I went through horrible withdrawals....horrible!!! Anyways, today I feel GREAT! I am amazed! The one thing that I have noticed is that one leg is slightly shorter. It feels weird and I have to get used to it!
I know that a lot of people may hesitate to have surgery, but it did wonders for me and I just want to give someone hope! If you have any questions, feel free to ask away!
