Hi friends,

I went to the orthopedist today to follow up on a an xray of my hip that the fibromyalgia specialist took. It had shown a small fibroma in my femur that the specialist thought was okay but that i should double check, because I have alot of tremendous pain in my hip.

So, this is the orthopod that did my knee replacement a few years ago. He checked that out because it has been sticking lately (took some xrays) and said that it's great and I have another 60,000 miles on it Feeling a bit off tonight

For my hip, he examined and said it is moving very well and that the xray shows by bones are fine. The fibroma is very common and is not to worry about. Also, my very low
vitamin d on my blood work for the last two years does not appear to have damaged my bones.

All great news right? But I'm frustrated, as much as I am trying to accept the fact that I have to deal with fibro pain forever and I am taking step to do that, this pain was different. And I was hoping there would be another name for it that it could be fixed. But alas, again it is fibromyalagia pain he says.

I'm just feeling a bit dejected tonight and needed to vent.

Thanks for listening.

Thanks Sky Feeling a bit off tonight I hope so too - I hate to have to depend on a drug but if that is what will make it go away I'm all for it!
