I have found this to be so irritating is when people dont believe how much pain your in or believe the health problems you have or even emotional problems for that matter, I have had people think I am just lazy or they think your a hypochondriac or just trying to get attention, I have the MRI for my back I have the proof from my doctors, We dont need to prove to any one what and what we dont have, I am just ranting right now because I cant stand ignorance

I feel you. How can I have proof with multiple MRIs that show a disc bulging on both sides of my sciatic nerve? Doctors don't want to get red flagged my the DEA. I swear the younger you are, it's almost impossible. I've gotten somas but they give me seizures. I can't take NSAIDs because of stomach surgery. And so the doctors tell me to take Tylenol since tramadol makes me throw up even with zofran. Yeah. I might only be 24 but you have proof right in front of your eyes. It's not like someone's going to bring it someone else's MRIs that just happen to have the same name and everything. >_>

I'm sorry. I believe your pain. I go through similar. It's so frustrating. I also find relating to others frustrating. Most people my age (20s) work & go to school & cannot fathom that I do not do either.

I'm sorry. They don't believe you because they've never had pain or health problems in their life. They cannot relate and I don't believe they will ever be able to relate until the day comes when they themselves experience pain.

I know it's very hard to deal with people like this. How I handle it is to not tell them very much about what I'm going through because it's a waste of time.
